2 Weeks ago, a total solar eclipse chased the Moon’s shadow over the US at a speed of at least 2400 km/h (speed varies due to the geometry of the Earth’s shape).  I did not get to see it unfortunately.  I was in San Fransisco a week earlier and if I would have realized an eclipse was about to happen just a little sooner, I would have extended my stay.  Lots of people did get to see it and many commented and shared images on social media or videos on YouTube.

A few clever guys realized they could see 2 eclipses happening at the same time, if only they could get the location and the timing right.   The images are just amazing.
